The Oregon Woodcarver's 3nd Annual Rendezvous
September 18-21, 2008
To be held at Canyonview camp. 3 Miles South of Silverton, OR.

There will be multiple-session class periods per day, with one being in the evening after dinner. There will be 1 multiple session Thursday night, 3 multiple sessions Friday and Saturday and 1 on Sunday morning. There will be many 3 hour classes during each of the day's multiple sessions. There will also be be 3-day classes with 1-3 hour session each on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This will allow the participant to also attend two other mulitple-class sessions each day. Some of the topics being discussed are the 3-day classes are:
Smooth body Duck Decoy in Butternut
Fish carving by on or more members of the National Fish Carver's Association and similar classes. The 3 hour sessions could include Power Carving 101, Chip carving, Caricature carvings, Air brushing, etc.
There will be raffle, so be thinking about a possible donation. More information wll be sent to registered carvers.
Facilities:
Food and lodging is a single package at The Canyonview Camp. Lodging is in dorm style cabins which have 5 double bunk beds (with mattresses) each. A sleeping bag & pillows or other bedding will be needed.,. There is a separate bath house and showers with sinks. There are also only 4 RV spots available with both water and power, only 2 with just power. Self contained and tent spaces are available. RV Spaces are $97.00 per person & which includes meals & day fees.

If you choose to NOT stay at the camp, or have extra meals before or after your "Package", there is a $7.00 per day fee $9.00 after 8/15)required by the camp plus the cost of any meals desired.
