The State Fair provided additional instructions regarding wood carving entries. The following is from Lou Wakefield who contacted the State Fair for clarification.

"I called the St. Fair, today and talked to a lady named Bettsey. The subj. was the fact that they have deleted Carving In The Round. I also told her that Carving In the Abstract was not a good replacement. She told me that they very much want us to be able to enter as many carvings as possible, and they will fix the problem in the future. In the meantime, they want us to bring our carvings to the regular input, and we will be able to enter them under 'Other". Please get the word out to all of our carvers."

Hopefully we'll see a lot of wood carvings entered into the Fair. Club members did well at the Marion County Fair. We are expecting even better results at the State Fair.
