Capitol Woodcarvers has a great display at the Oregon State Fair. Many visitors stopped buy to ask about our Club and about woodcarving in general. Those who have not been previously exposed to woodcarving are always amazed by what we do.

In addition to the expected questions such as "What kind of wood is that?", "How long does to take?", or "How long have you been carving?, visitors often tell us stories about their Grandfathers, or Fathers and how they used to watch as they carved "whittled". You can tell that these stories bring back memories of long ago.
