Hi Fellow Capitol Woodcarvers

Our monthly meeting is this Tuesday, 7:00 PM, at Center 50+. Don’t forget to bring your knife-carved balls, for the fun and exciting CHIPPER CARVING ROLLERBALL DERBY with a chance to win a fabulous prize. After a short business meeting, delicious refreshments, and the wood draw, entrants will compete for prizes in the accuracy and distance category. Don’t despair if your ball isn’t as perfect as you would like, because there will also be a “BOO”-B prize, since Halloween is rapidly approaching.

Speaking of rapidly approaching…Our annual ornament sale is this Friday and Saturday, so bring your ornaments to this meeting.

One more thing…The Nov 11, Veteran’s Day lunch has moved to Applebees on Lancaster. 3 PM. People should let Debi or Lou Wakefield know if they are going. The lunch is free for Veterans, but everyone is welcome. Non Veterans will need to pay for their own meal.
